New COVID boosters will also be available when we receive them (additional email will be sent when received)
- Employees will have no out of pocket expense associated with receiving their flu vaccine.
- Stickers stating whether or not employees have received the flu vaccine will be given out and must be placed visibly on employees GLFHC badge.
- Employees seeking alternative options (i.e., Flublok for allergies or other reasons), please email Danielle McManus directly to schedule.
- If an employee declines the vaccine, that employee MUST continue to wear a mask in all patient care areas at all times between 11/1/23-3/31/24 even if the state mandate for mask wearing is lifted. If vaccine refusal is due to an egg allergy, there are alternative options available. Otherwise the employee must wear a mask and can choose, at their own expense, to see an allergist for further evaluation.
- Masks can be obtained at any site location in the medical supply closet.
- If you have received your flu vaccination at another provider please submit proof of vaccination to the Human Resources Department by emailing hr@glfhc.org before October 27th
